dc.description.abstractBaklářská práce se věnuje postavě a kultu svatého Ivana, legendárního poustevníka působícího podle tradice ve Svatém Janu pod Skalou. Práce analyzuje tři základní verze legendy o svatém Ivanovi, zabývá se výzkumem jeho relikvií, sleduje historický vývoj benediktinských institucí spojených s jeho úctoou a popisuje činnost bratrstva Ivanitů. Dále zkoumá stopy kultu v památkách, lidové tradici a literatuře. Práce si klade otázku historické existence tohoto světce, přičemž zvláštní pozornost klade teorii Gelasia Dobnera o Ivanově původu. Výsledky pak naznačují, že i přes absenci oficiální kanonizace má kult svatého Ivana historický základ a významné místo v české duchovní kultuře.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor´s thesis focuses on the figure and cult of Saint Ivan, a legendary hermit who, according to tradition, lived in Svatý Jan pod Skalou. The thesis analyzes three primary versions of the legend of Saintr Ivan,. examines research on relics attributed to him, traces the historical development of Benedictine institutions associated with his veneration, and describes the activities of the Ivanite brotherhood. It also explores traces of his cult in monumrents, folk tradition and literature. The thesis raises the question of saint´s historical existence, with particular attention to Gelasius Dobner´s theory regarding Saint Ivan´s origin. The findings suggest that, despite the absence of official cannonizations, the cult of Saint Ivan has a historical foundation and a significant place in Cźech religious culture.en
