dc.description.abstractÚvodní část práce přiblíží vikingskou společnost raného středověku. Následující kapitola bude popisovat samotnou Valhallu, tj. mýtickou síň, v níž hodovali bohové a jejich válečníci čekající na příchod Ragnaröka, jenž symbolizoval konec světa a poslední bitvu mezi dobrem a zlem. Další dvě kapitoly se budou věnovat analýze rituálů spojených s uctíváním bohů a motivací k boji i bojem samotným. Pro ilustraci bude zařazeno několik příkladů nejslavnějších bojovníků. V závěrečné části bude zhodnocen celkový význam Valhally v životě vikingské společnosti. Práce bude založena na studiu pramenů zpřístupňujících vikingské mytologické texty i příslušnou odbornou literaturou.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe introductory part of the bachelor thesis will be presented by Viking Society of the Early Middle Ages. The following chapter will describe Valhall himself, a mythical hall in which the gods and their warriors were waiting for the arrival of Ragnarök, symbolizing the end of the world and the last the battle between good and evil. The next two chapters will deal with the analysis of rituals related to the worship of the gods and motivation to fight and fighting alone. For illustration, some examples of the most famous warriors will be included. The final part will be evaluated the overall importance of Vallhalla in the life of Viking society. The thesis will be based on studying the sources of Viking accessibility mythological texts and relevant literature.en
