dc.description.abstractTématem diplomové práce je Masaryků kulturní dům na Mělníku. Masarykův kulturní dům byl postaven v roce 1936.Od svého vzniku prošel kulturní dům řadou změn, které se snažím shrnout do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola či celek je věnován tomu, co předcházelo vzniku Masarykova kulturního domu. Poskytuje informace o prvních dochovaných zmínkách vypovídajících o kulturním dění na Mělníku. Dále pokus o výstavbu samostatného divadla. Druhý celek kromě popisu výstavby Masarykova kulturního domu a jeho následného vývoje, obsahuje podkapitolu věnovanou trnitým osudům bronzové sochy T. G. Masaryka. Poslední celek práce se zabývá zejména současnou situací a změnami, které se odehrály v posledních 13 letech Masarykova kulturního domu. Snaží se také přiblížit záměry tehdejších ředitelů a jejich dopad na Masarykův kulturní dům.Cílem této práce je nashromáždit veškeré dosavadní informace týkající se Masarykova domu a vytvořit z nich ucelené dílo.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of diploma thesis is Masaryk's cultural house in Mělník. Since its establishment the culture house has undergone by a number of changes, which I try to summarize in three main chapters. The first chapter or part is devoted to what preceded the establishment of Masaryk's cultural house. It provides information about the first preserved references informing about the cultural events in Mělník. Further the attempt to build a theater. The second part, in addition to describing the construction of Masaryk's cultural house and its subsequent development, includes the sub-chapter devoted to the thorny fate of a bronze statue of T. G. Masaryk. The last part of this thesis deals mainly with the current situation and with the changes that have taken place in the last 13 years of Masaryk's cultural house. It also tries to closely describe the intentions of former directors and their impact on Masaryk's cultural house.The objective of this diploma thesis is to gather all existing information concerning the Masaryk's cultural house and use them for elaboration of coherent work.en
