dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá geografickými aspekty vývoje bezpečnostní situace ve státech Jihovýchodní Asie v období 2001-2020. Region je charakteristický vysokou mírou etnické, náboženské a kulturní rozmanitosti, což v kombinaci s historickým dědictvím kolonialismu a autoritářskými režimy představuje podhoubí pro vznik různorodých bezpečnostních hrozeb. Práce se zaměřuje především na projevy terorismu, výskyt teroristických útoků, jejich počet a počet obětí. Analyzována jsou i vybrané konkrétní konflikty. V závěru práce jsou zodpovězeny hlavní výzkumné otázky a provedením syntézy výsledků je nabídnut celkový pohled na vývoj bezpečnostní situace v regionu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis master's thesis examines the geographical aspects of the evolving security situation in the Southeast Asian states over the period 2001-2020. The region is characterized by a high degree of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity, which, combined with the historical legacy of colonialism and authoritarian regimes, provides fertile ground for the emergence of various security threats. The thesis focuses mainly on the manifestations of terrorism, the incidence of terrorist attacks, their number and the number of victims. Selected specific conflicts are also analysed. The thesis concludes by answering the main research questions and synthesizing the results to offer an overall view of the evolving security situation in the region.en
