dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá tématem migrace a zdraví. Výzkumným cílem je zmapování situace týkající se zdraví českých migrantů ve Velké Británii, jejich péče o zdraví, formální a neformální zdravotní péči a faktory mající vliv na využívání formální zdravotní péče. Pozornost je také věnována jednání v rámci transnacionálních sítí. Ve výzkumu je použito paralelního smíšeného designu. Použitými metodami jsou dotazníkové šetření a polostrukturované rozhovory. Výsledky potvrzují selektivní výběr migrace, dle kterého se do migračního procesu zapojují zdravější jedinci. Nejdůležitějšími faktory mající vliv na využívání formální zdravotní péče jsou úroveň anglického jazyka, zkušenost se zdravotním systémem v zemi původu a socializace do modelu péče o zdraví.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the theme of migration and health. The aim is to analyze the situation regarding the health of Czech migrants in the UK. Mainly their way of health care, using formal and informal health care and the factors influencing the use of formal health care. Also, the research is focused on the health behavior within transnational networks. I use convergent parallel mixed methods design. The research methods are questionnaire and semi- structured interviews. The results confirm the hypothesis of selective migration, according to which the migration process involved healthier individuals. The most important factors of the use of formal health care as the fluency in English, experience with the health care system in the Czech Republic and socialization into the model of health care.en
