Abstract
In this paper, the analysis of the hybrid energy storage system for electric vehicle is provided. Focus is given on the energy needs of electric vehicle regarding international driving cycle profile. Because combination of supercapacitor and battery provides essential advantages, the evaluation of this alternative is made from the economical point of view.
