dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá osobou císaře Konstantina, způsobem uspořádání Římské říše před počátkem jeho kariéry, politickými a vojenskými událostmi, které předcházely jeho nástupu k samovládě. Za neméně důležitý je zde považován popis doby s ohledem na náboženskou situaci, obzvláště významné je zde srovnání postavení křesťanské komunity před Konstantinovou dobou. Z toho vyplývá nutnost, zabývat se zákonem, který tuto změnu zapříčinil, a dále se musí brát i ohledy na císařovu snahu sjednotit církev. Nicméně je považováno za nutné zde zmínit i reformní úsilí započaté jeho předchůdcem, které bylo dovršeno Konstantinem. Hlavním cílem této práce je utvoření představy o obrazu doby tohoto císaře, vzhledem k náboženské politice.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with a person of the emperor Constantine, organization of the Roman empire before the beginning of his career, political and military events that preceded his arrival to autocracy. No less important is considered to be the description of the time with regard to religious situation, especially significant here is the comparison of the position of the Christian community before Constantine´s time. From this implies, to deal with the law, which caused this change, and must also take into consideration the emperor's efforts to unite the church. However,it is considered necessary here to mention the reform efforts initiated by his predecessor, which was completed by Constantine. The main objective of this work is to form an idea of the image of the emperor's time, due to religious politics.en
