dc.description.abstractPráce je zaměřena na život předposledního císaře habsburské monarchie, císaře a krále Františka Josefa I. a jeho vztah k českým zemím. Uspořádání není chronologické nýbrž tematické s důrazem na významné vnitropolitické, mezinárodní, sociální, kulturní a ekonomické události a změny, mající zásadní vliv na proměny monarchie. Analyzuje také výchozí politicko-společenskou situaci spolu s ústavními a právními změnami ve druhé polovině 19. století. Co nejdůsledněji také definuje postoj, který česká společnost vůči svému nikdy nekorunovanému králi zaujímala.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe work deals with the life of the last but one Emperor of the Habsburg monarchy Francis Joseph I and his relationship to the Czech lands. Its composition is not chronological but thematical with the emphasis on the important political, social, cultural and economical event and changes, which had impact on the evolution of the monarchy. It also analyses political-social situation with the constitutional and legal changes in the second half of the 19th century. It also describes the stance of the Czech society towards the Emperor.en
