dc.description.abstract-translatedOn 24 February 2022, the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of the territory of the Republic of Ukraine. The European Union immediately reacted to this full-scale invasion, with one-sided sanctions packages being adopted. In terms of public procurement law, the most significant measure adopted was EU Council Regulation No. 833/2014 on restrictive measures in view of Russia‘s activities destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, with the new EU Council Regulation No. 2022/576 of 8 April 2022. Member States responded to this unfolding aggression in Ukraine in two ways, either by adopting additional measures of their own and imposing controls, or by relying on the measures of the European Council. This article discusses the various measures taken within the Member States beyond the reciprocal measures taken by the European Commissionen
