| dc.description.abstract | Česká republika se řadí mezi zastupitelské demokracie, což je forma vlády založená na principu volby zastupitelů lidu v přímých volbách. To ale neznamená, že občané nemohou ovlivnit rozhodování přímo, pomocí prvků přímé demokracie. Mezi nejvýznamnější instituty přímé demokracie v ČR patří petice a místní referendum.
