dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá problematikou dětství ve středověku. První část práce je věnována obecnému teoretickému úvodu do problematiky dětství v minulosti. Důraz je zde kladen především na vymezení předmětu studia, dějiny bádání a na řešené otázky a problémy popř. metody výzkumu spojené s touto problematikou. Dále se práce zabývá dějinami dětství a zejména pohřbíváním dětí ve středověké Evropě. Důraz je kladen na specifika dětských pohřbů v průběhu raného až pozdního středověku. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím analýzy a syntézy raně až pozdně středověkých pohřebišť vystihnout specifika pohřbívání dětí v průběhu středověku a na základě těchto specifik interpretovat možné postavení dítěte ve středověku a jeho vztah k dospělé populaci.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis is addressing the issue of childhood in the Middle Ages. The first part pursues the goal of a theoretical introduction into the field of childhood in the past. The emphasis is on the definition of the subject at matter, research history and the questions and problems at hand, eventually the methodology of research concerning the field of study. Further on it looks into the history of childhood and child burials in medieval Europe in particular. The emphasis lays on th e specifics of child burials from early to late Middle Ages.The concluding chapter contains the results of the authors own research, based on the study of graveyards and burials. The thesis contains the analysis of sixteen burial sites from the periods of early to late Middle Ages. The goal of the thesis was to trace the changes in the burials of non-adult individuals in the focused period.en
