| dc.description.abstract-translated | The monastery library of the Cistercian order in Plasy in the north- ern part of Pilsen disappeared together with the monastery in 1785 due to the reforms of Emperor Joseph II. Its fragments have survived in the parish library of the local church and others are now in the holdings of the Cistercian mon- astery in Osek or the library of the Royal Canonry of the Premonstratensian Order in Strahov. Between 1827 and 1945, the aristocratic Metternich family was associated with the Plasy estate and the monastery complex, who also left a library here. The article deals with the current period of the historical library collection of the state monument building of the Plasy monastery owned by the National Monuments Institute in terms of the incremental compositions of the collection and the research of the provenance stamps. The article is the result of a scientific research, consortium project NAKI II of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic: „Virtual reconstruction of scattered provenance-bohemian book units in domestic and foreign libraries“. | |
