dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá jedním z nejcharakterističtějších prvků mamlúcké architektury - kopulí. Během období předcházejících vládě mamlúků (1260 až 1517) se stalo běžným, že si členové egyptské vládnoucí vrstvy začali stavět mauzoleum, v němž měli být po smrti pohřbeni, již v průběhu svého života. Kopule se pak stala specifickým symbolem mauzolea. Enormní pozornost byla věnována její výzdobě, jež reprezentovala moc a bohatství stavitele. Cílem této práce je poskytnout českému čtenáři co nejkomplexnější přehled vývoje, kterým káhirské kopule prošly v době mamlúků, a zaměřuje se také na některé z nevyřešených otázek týkajících se průběhu stavby kopulí.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with one of the most characteristic elements of the Mamluk architecture the dome. During the periods foregoing the Mamluk era members of the egyptian ruling class started to prepare their personal burrial place while living and the dome became the specific sign of a mausoleum. A very much attention was payed to embellish it adequately so as to exhibit the personal power and wealth of the burried person to the general public. Aim of this thesis is to provide to the Czech readers as much complex study as possible, showing the development, which the Cairene domes and its decorative patterns undertook during the Mamluk era. I also focus on some of the unclear aspect about the process of building.en
