dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se věnuje vleklému kyperskému konfliktu a jeho vlivu na vztah Evropské unie a Turecka. S ohledem na přístupová jednání o členství Turecka v EU je důležité toto téma zkoumat, protože vyřešení kyperské otázky je jednou z podmínek, které klade Unie směrem k Turecku. Práce využívá diskurzní analýzy projevů evropských a tureckých politiků vztahující se k tomuto konfliktu v kontextu geopolitického soupeření EU a Turecka. Hlavním výstupem práce je vyhodnocení analýzy a vyjádření, jak konflikt na Kypru ovlivňuje vztah EU a Turecka. V závěru práce navrhuje možné oblasti dalšího výzkumu, které by mohly pomoci tuto problematiku lépe poznat a pochopit.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe Bachelor Thesis deals with the protracted Cyprus conflict and its impact on the relationship between the European Union and Turkey. Having regard to the access negotiations on Turkey's membership in the EU, it is necessary to scrutinize this theme because the solution of the Cyprus question is one of the conditions that the Union lays towards Turkey. The Thesis uses discourse analysis of European and Turkish politicians´ speeches related to this conflict in the context of geopolitical competition between the EU and Turkey. The Thesis supplies the analysis and assessment of the conflict in Cyprus, and its impact on the relationship of the EU and Turkey. The conclusion of the Thesis proposes possible areas for further research, which could help to get to know and understand these issues.en
