dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá historií trestu smrti v dějinách lidstva a převážně vývoji na území českých zemích od vzniku společnosti až do roku 1990. Analýza zahrnuje změny v právní praxi, důvody pro používání tohoto trestu a jeho postavení v rámci mezinárodního i vnitrostátního práva. Práce reflektuje komplexnost a kontroverznost tohoto právního institutu. Historický vývoj trestu smrti je podrobně analyzován, včetně jeho proměn v jednotlivých obdobích českých dějin. Práce se také věnuje problematice justičních vražd a politických procesů spojených s trestem smrti. Závěrečná kapitola obsahuje výsledky analýzy dotazníku mezi respondenty různých věkových skupin. Celkově přináší komplexní pohled na historii, vývoj a současnou situaci trestu smrti v moderní společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with the history of the death penalty in the history of mankind and mainly with the development in the Czech lands from the beginning of society until 1990. The analysis includes changes in legal practice, the reasons for the use of this punishment and its position within international and national law. The work reflects the complexity and controversy of this legal institute. The historical development of the death penalty is analysed in detail, including its changes in different periods of Czech history. The work also focuses on the issue of judicial killings and political trials related to the death penalty. The final chapter contains the results of the analysis of a questionnaire among respondents of different age groups. Overall, it provides a comprehensive view of the history, development and current situation of the death penalty in modern society.en
