Práce se také snaží podat čtenáři základní informace o lingvistice a Pražském lingvistickém kroužku. Nejvěští část práce se samozřejmě věnuje samotnému Trnkovi, což byl člověk, který ovlivnil nejen českou, ale i světovou lingvistiku.cs
