K historii a stavebnímu vývoji bývalé papírny Piette v Plzni

Abstract

Článek se věnuje historii a stavebnímu vývoji papírny Piette na Východním předměstí města Plzně. Továrna byla založena v roce 1870 a byla v provozu až do roku 2006, kdy byla výroba ukončena. Většinu budov v areálu, kromě památkově chráněného jádra továrny, čeká demolice. Článek oživuje bohatou historii továrny a věnuje se jejímu stavebnímu vývoji na základě výsledků stavebně-historického průzkumu.The article deals with the history and construction development of the industrial site of the former paper mill located in eastern Suburb of the City of Plzeň. The factory was established in 1870 and was operation until 2006, when the production was shut down. Most of the buildings on the site, except for the listed core of the factory, are scheduled for demolition.The article revives the rich history of the factory and discusses its construction development based on the results of a construction-historical survey.
