dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá diagnostikou diabetu mellitu v metabolické ordinaci ÚKBH FN Plzeň. Úvod teoretická části se věnuje anatomii a fyziologii pankreatu, metabolismu inzulinu a glukózy. Dále jsou vysvětlovány pojmy diabetes mellitus, epidemiologie diabetu a definice a klasifikace diabetu včetně akutních a chronických komplikací, které onemocnění doprovází. Praktická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku pacientů s prvozáchytem diabetu z metabolické ordinace ÚKBH FN Plzeň. Hlavním účelem této části je popis diagnostiky DM na výsledcích z reálné klinické praxe.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor's thesis deals with the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus in the metabolic clinic of the ÚKBH FN Plzeň. The introduction to the theoretical part is devoted to the anatomy and physiology of the pancreas, insulin and glucose metabolism. Furthermore, the concepts of diabetes mellitus, epidemiology of diabetes and the definition and classification of diabetes are explained, including the acute and chronic complications that accompany the disease. The practical part is focused on the characteristics of patients with a first diagnosis of diabetes from the metabolic clinic of the ÚKBH FN Plzeň. The main purpose of this section is the description of DM diagnosis based on results from real clinical practice.en
