dc.description.abstractCílem práce bylo porovnat demokracii ve třech egyptských režimech, režimu prezidenta Mubáraka, režimu po revoluci 2011 a režimu po revoluci 2013. Vláda prezidenta Mubáraka je zde rozdělena na čtyři výzkumná období. Práce vychází z definice demokracie vytvořenou politologem Robertem A. Dahlem. Jeho sedm demokratických institucí bylo použito jako kritérium pro demokracii v egyptských režimech. V hlavní části práce je zkoumáno, kolik ze sedmi demokratických znaků jednotlivé režimy splňovaly. Následnou komparací bylo zjištěno, který z režimů byl nejvíce demokratický a který nejméně. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že žádný z režimů nelze považovat za demokratický. Dále pak, že ze šesti zkoumaných období se demokracii nejvíce přiblížilo období po revoluci 2011.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe main aim of this work was comparison of democracy in Egypt's regimes. This study compare democracy of three regimes divided into six periods: the rule of President Mubarak 19811989, the rule of President Mubarak 19901999, the rule of President Mubarak 2000 2006, the rule of President Mubarak 20072010, the regime after revolution in 2011 and the regime after revolution in 2013. Before comparison it was necessary to define democracy first. That was done in the theoretical part of this study. The main sources for defining democracy were writings of American political theorist Robert A. Dahl. His seven institutions of democracy were used as criteria for democracy in Egypt's regimes. The main chapter of this study examines how many (and to which extent) of seven democratic institutions each regime complied. After every single institution research, there is a comparison of results. The outcome of this study discovered three things. (1) Non of examined Egypt's regimes were democratic according to Dahl's theory. (2) The regime after revolution 2011 was less autocratic and more democratic than the rest. (3) Egypt's legal framework was barely changed after the revolutions in 2011 and 2013.en
