dc.description.abstract-translatedThe implementation of interdisciplinary technologies as one of the consequences of the 4th industrial revolution has brought, in addition to obvious benefits, new legislative challenges, i.e. the need to regulate newly emerging and specific industries, which is undoubtedly the 3D bioprinting technology. The aim of the contribution is to examine the regulatory framework of 3D bioprinting in the legal environment of the Slovak Republic with regard to the legislation of the European Union and focusing on the Regulations of the EP and the Council of the EU on medical devices and quality standards for substances of human origin intended for human use.en
