dc.description.abstractCílem práce je zachytit osudy rodiny Baxových ze Sedlčan, z níž povstalo několik osobností, jež svým významem překonaly hranice rodného regionu. Práce si klade za cíl postihnout život a historický odkaz tří vybraných osobností této rodiny, jmenovitě Jana Baxy (1833-1902) a jeho synů Karla Baxy (1862-1938)a Bohumila Baxy(1874-1942). Na základě studia archivních pramenů, sekundární literatury a dobových periodik budou sestaveny portréty výše zmíněných osobností, jež budou zasazeny do patřičných historických kontextů. Z hlediska metodologie bude užito přímé i nepřímé metody ke studiu historických pramenů, k lepšímu pochopení studovaných osobností budou uplatněny induktivní a deduktivní postupy. Dané metody zastřešuje metoda biografická s prvky prosopografie.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this thesis consists of capturing history of Baxa family from Sedlčany whose members importantly contributed to the history of their native region but also to the history of Czech lands. The thesis focuses on life and historical heritage of three selected members of the family, namely on Jan Baxa (1833-1902) and his sons Karel (1862-1938) and Bohumil (1874-1942). Portraits of the mentioned figures are based on archival sources, secondary literature. periodicals and historical context. Speaking of methodology, direct and indirect methods will be used for studying historical sources. The author of this thesis is willing to use inductive and deductive methods to reach a profound understanding of selected figures. All the methods will be sheltered by biographical method with aspects of prosopography.en
