Město Teplá za třicetileté války

Abstract

Město Teplá stojí poněkud ve stínu sousedního kláštera, což platí i pro poznávání jeho historie. Například jeho osud za třicetileté války nebyl dosud probádán. Předkládaná případová studie se proto zaměřuje jak na významné události, které se zde odehrály v té době, tak na poznání každodenního života ve městě, pokud to dochované prameny a dostupná literatura umožňují. Účelem je porovnat znalosti získané v již analyzovaných městských komunitách, ale také doplnění obrazu o dění v kdysi významném městě na trase mezi Plzní a Chebem.The town of Teplá stands somewhat in the shadow of the neighboring monastery, which also applies to learning about its history. For example, his fate during the Thirty Years‘ War has not yet been investigated. The following case study will therefore focus both o n the major events that took place here at the time, and on the knowledge of everyday life in the city, as far as the preserved sources and available literature allow. The purpose is to compare the knowledge gained with already analyzed urban communities, but also (on a regional level) to complete the picture of events in the once important city on the route between Pilsen and Cheb.
