dc.description.abstractTématem této práce je korporátní společenská odpovědnost ropné společnosti BP. Práce je rozdělená do tří částí. V úvodní je představen koncept společenské odpovědnosti, jeho vývoj, definice, výhody a kritika. Další část se zabývá společenskou odpovědností jako normou a praktickými podobami CSR. Třetí část je případovou studií společenské odpovědnosti BP během havárie v Mexickém zálivu. Práce porovnává chování společnosti BP, které vyplynulo z interpretací tří vybraných aktérů - společnosti BP, americké vlády a nevládní organizace s ideálním typem odpovědné firmy. Tento ideální typ byl vytvořen na základě metody Maxe Webera. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda se chování společnosti BP během havárie v Mexickém zálivu slučovalo se zásadami a principy CSR, ke kterým se firma hlásí.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe issue of this diploma thesis is corporate social responsibility (CSR) of the oil company BP. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the introductory part is presented the concept of social responsibility, its development, definitions, benefits and criticism. The following section deals with social responsibility as the norm and practical forms of CSR. The third part is a case study of corporate social responsibility of BP during the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. The thesis compares the behavior of BP, which resulted from the interpretation of the three selected actors BP, U.S. government, and non-governmental organization, with the ideal type of responsible company. This ideal type of responsible company was created based on the Max Weber methodology. . The aim of this diploma thesis is to discover whether the behavior of BP during the Gulf of Mexico disaster was consistent with principles of CSR, which the company promotes.en
