dc.description.abstractTématem této diplomové práce je geopolitické postavení Tádžikistánu v regionu Střední Asie. Cílem práce bude zjistit, kteří regionální a globální aktéři projektují do Tádžikistánu své mocenské a geopolitické vektory, dále zjistit zdroje jejich motivace, zhodnotit, jakých úspěchů nebo popř. neúspěchů v tomto ohledu dosáhli a vnést tak do odborné i veřejné diskuze nové poznatky o geopolitickém postavení Tádžikistánu v rámci regionu Střední Asiecs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis diploma thesis aims to examine which actors design their geopolitical vectors towards Tajikistan as a geopolitical focal point, and to find out their power ambitions and the primary motivations for such a foreign policy. Carefully selected local, regional and global actors who penetrate into Tajikistan will be examined. The theoretical basis of this diploma thesis is the concept of the Eurasian Convergence Zone, developed by the well-known geographer and theorist Saul B. Cohen. Based on his theoretical concept, the work tries to offer an answer as to whether the geopolitical trajectory of Tajikistan is moving towards the Shatterbelt or towards the Gateway.en
