dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce pojednává o vnitřní politice Japonska v první polovině 20. století a o japonských expanzích ve stejné epoše dějin. V teoretické části je vykreslen termín geopolitika a koncepce rozdělení světa u Karla Haushofera. Haushoferova teorie se poté aplikuje na počínání Japonska v zahraniční politice a také na určité aspekty jeho vnitřní politiky. Práce mapuje proměnu Japonska v pozdní době Meidži, militarizaci ve 30. letech a druhou světovou válku. Jejím cílem je nalezení příčin, proč se Japonsko transformovalo do imperialistické mocnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedMaster thesis describes the domestic Japanese politics in the first half of the 20th century as well as Japanese expansions in the same historical period. The term "geopolitics" and Karl Haushofer's concept of world division are explained in the theoretical part. Haushofer's theory is afterwards used to portray the acts of Japan in international politics and several aspects of its domestic politics. The thesis displays the changes of Japan in the latter time period of Meiji era, militarization in the 30s and the Second World War. The main focus is to find the reasons for Japan to become imperialistic power.en
