dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem Pádu Francie 1940 a charakterizuje Německou a spojeneckou připravenost na tento konflikt, která hraje důležitou roli při historické analýze. Dále pak klade důraz na samotný průběh bitvy o Francii a popisuje postup německých armád při útoku a také spojeneckou neschopnost stabilizovat špatně se vyvíjející průběh bitvy. Následně se práce zaměřuje na evakuaci britského expedičního sboru z oblasti města Dunkerqe, která byla nedílnou součástí Pádu Francie. Poté pokračuje k německému útoku do nitra Francie a vysvětluje, proč francouzská armáda podlehla tak snadno. Závěr je věnován důsledkům Pádu Francie a zhodnocení celé bitvy. Práce srovnává přístup českých a zahraničních historiografů na téma Pádu Franci a snaží se vyhodnotit jednotlivé přístupy.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the Fall of France 1940 and characterizes the German and Allied preparedness for this conflict, which plays an important role in historical analysis. It also emphasizes the course of the Battle of France and describes the progress of the German armies in the attack, as well as the Allied inability to stabilize the poor development of the battle. Subsequently, the work focuses on the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from the area of the city of Dunkirk, which was an integral part of the Fall of France. He then proceeds to the German attack inside France and explains why the French army succumbed so easily. The conclusion is devoted to the consequences of the Fall of France and the evaluation of the whole battle. The work compares the approach of Czech and foreign historiographers on the topic of the Fall of France and tries to evaluate individual approaches.en
