dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of theatre censorship as well as its impact on culture or is a rarely discussed issue in current legal history. The author of this article is focusing on its legal regulation and its practise in midwar period in Czechoslovakia, Slovakia respectively. The goal of this study is to analyse the legal framework for theatre censorship and legal grounds, based on which zzechoslovak bureaus in Slovakia interfered in terms of theatre display freedom.en
