dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá povědomím mužů o nádorovém onemocnění varlat a jeho prevencí s důrazem na význam samovyšetření varlat. Teoretická část poskytuje přehled o příčinách, diagnostice a léčbě tohoto onemocnění, přičemž se zaměřuje i na roli zdravotnických pracovníku v edukaci veřejnosti a význam preventivních opatření. Výzkum prezentovaný v praktické části kvalifikační práce byl zvolen v souladu s cíli práce. Respondenti dotazníkového šetření byli muži starší 18 let, žijící v Plzeňském kraji. Pomocí dotazníku bylo hodnoceno jejich povědomí o nádorovém onemocnění varlat a také byl hodnocen i jejich přístup k pravidelnému samovyšetření varlat. S ohledem na výsledky námi realizovaného výzkumu byla navržena doporučení, která by mohla přispět ke zvýšení informovanosti mužů, podpoře včasné diagnostiky a posílení preventivních opatření.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor's thesis focuses on men's awareness of testicular cancer and its prevention, with an emphasis on the importance of self-examination. The theoretical part provides an overview of the causes, diagnosis and treatment of this disease, while also addressing the role of healthcare professionals in educating the public and the significance of preventive measures. The research presented in the practical part of the thesis was conducted in accordance with the objectives of the study. The respondents of the survey were men over the age of 18 living in the Pilsen region. The questionnaire was used to assess their awareness of testicular cancer as well as their approach to regular testicular self-examination. Based on the findings of our research, recommendations were proposed that could contribute to increasing men's awareness, supporting early diagnosis and strengthening preventive measures.en
