| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce se zaměřuje na bitvu o Gallipoli, která začala dne 19. února 1915 jako námořní bitva, později také jako pozemní operace. Bitva byla mezi Spojenci a Ústředními mocnostmi. Cílem bylo obsadit poloostrov Gallipoli, kde by britské námořnictvo proplulo Dardanelským průlivem, který spojuje Marmarské moře a Egejské moře, a poté dobýt Istanbul, aby vyloučili Turecko z války. Kampaň Gallipoli trvala do 9. ledna 1916. | cs |
