Rychlá a levná výroba nástrojů pro tváření malých sérií plechových dílů metodou hydroforming

Abstract

Hydroforming is a modern and efficient technology for production of complex shaped parts from tubes and metal sheets. It is commonly used in the production of car bodies and chassis as well as in manufacturing of various machine parts. The main disadvantage of hydroforming consists in the high fix costs connected with purchasing of hydroforming presses and manufacturing of special hydroforming tools. For this reason, hydroforming is mostly used only in production of large batches. The research team of the FORTECH Research Centre of Forming Technology developed technical approaches, which enable both rapid and cost-efficient manufacturing of hydroforming tools. These tools can be used for production of small and middle-sized batches of metal sheet parts or prototypes of them. Experiments are being performed, which should approve the usability of the developed approaches in the industrial production.
