Analysis of the alternative voltage type rectifier for WPT system

Abstract

This work focuses on the operational study of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, with the primary focus being the alternative topology of the secondary side rectifier, for which the system's attributes are being examined. The common choke of the alternative rectifier replaces the two diodes in the bridge rectifier. In order to examine the electrical behavior and determine the most favorable circumstances, also known as terms of efficiency performance at nominal power, a system analysis was first carried out. Consequently, in order to demonstrate the operational behavior in the time domain for each researched rectifier alternative, the findings are compared, analyzed, and then subjected to simulation analysis. Regarding secondary side electrical factors, several correlations have been found, and stress-optimization strategies are also discussed. While individual secondary side rectifier solutions are assessed from an efficiency perspective and recommended operational parameters are followed
