| dc.description.abstract | V roce 1767 byly britským parlamentem schváleny tzv. Townshendovy zákony. Tento soubor zákonů uvaloval clo na dovoz papíru, skla, olova, kůže, barev a čaje do amerického kontinentu. Výsledkem bylo uzavření protidovozní dohody mezi koloniemi, systematický bojkot anglického zboží a první požadavky na neutralitu vůči Anglii. Zhoršené vztahy se nejvíce projevovaly v Bostonu, kde docházelo k neustálému střetávání se britských vojáků s civilisty. Jedna z těchto konfrontací skončila v březnu 1770 tzv. Bostonským masakrem. O měsíc později byla Townshendova cla zrušena s výjimkou cla na čaj. Po odvolání cel se situace v zemi na čas uklidnila, ovšem nová vlna odporu se zvedla v roce 1773, když parlament schválil zákon, podle kterého měla Východoindická společnost, jež se ocitla na pokraji bankrotu, dovážet čaj přímo do kolonií, aniž by platila dovozní cla. Odpovědí bylo tzv. bostonské pití čaje v prosinci 1773. Cílem práce je analyzovat dopad Townshednových zákonů, reakci amerických kolonií a vliv na vztah k mateřské zemi. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | In the year 1767 were by British parliament approved so-called Townshend Acts. This set of laws imposed a duty on imports of paper, glass, lead, leather, color and tea into the American continent. The results were the closure of collusion between the colonies, a systematic boycott of English goods, and the first requirements for neutrality against England. The deteriorating relationship was most apparent in Boston, where there was a constant encounter with British soldiers and civilians. One of these confrontations ended in the March 1770 so-called Boston massacre. One month later, the Townshend Acts were canceled except for tea duties. After the removal of customs duties, the situation in the country receded for a while, but the new wave of resistance rose in 1773 when parliament passed the law that the East India Company, which were on the verge of bankruptcy, were to import tea directly into the colonies without paying import duties. The answer was so-called Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The aim of the work is to analyze the impact of Townshend Acts, the reaction of American colonies and the influence on the relationship with the motherland. | en |
