dc.description.abstract-translatedThe main aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the functioning of the Next Generation EU programme and its structure.In the first part of the thesis I will explain in general terms what the Next Generation EU plan is. I will mainly look at the political process of adoption and the related legislation. The first part of my thesis is mainly devoted to introducing the Next Generation EU instrument. In this part I will try to explain everything related to it. At the beginning of my thesis there is a general description of the NGEU. It then goes on to explain the relevance of the covid-19 pandemic to this topic. The adoption process is also explained along with the legislation of this plan. The first part also explains the structure of the NGEU and the programmes of which it is composed, such as the Fair Transformation Fund or Horizon Europe. The thesis also describes how the Next Generation EU is financed and the budgetary principles thaten
