| dc.description.abstract | Předkládaná rigorózní práce "Obraz zářijových masakrů roku 1792 v západní historiografii" představuje historiografickou reflexi zářijových masakrů, tedy události, která zásadně ovlivnila průběh Velké francouzské revoluce. Rigorózní práce je primárně zaměřena na analýzu pohledu západní historiografie. V práci je tedy kladen důraz na díla vydávaná ve francouzském, německém, anglickém a českém jazyce. Hlavním cílem této rigorózní práce bylo objasnění a komparace základních vývojových trendů a základních přístupů západní historiografie v rámci interpretace této extrémně kontroverzní události. Práce rovněž stručně charakterizuje hlavní interpretační schémata konzervativních, liberálních, republikánských, socialistických a marxistických autorů, přičemž pozornost je věnována i revizionistickým a nejnovějším interpretacím soudobých autorů. Základní metodou práce je kvalitativní obsahová analýza a kritická interpretace relevantní odborné literatury a její komparace s dalšími odbornými zdroji. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The rigorous thesis "Historiography of the September Massacres in 1792" represents a historiographic reflection of the September massacres, a crucial event which significantly influenced the course of the French Revolution. The rigorous thesis primarily focuses on analysing the western historiography view. The emphasis is placed on the pieces of work published in French, German, English, and Czech. The main aim of this rigorous thesis was to clarify and compare the basic approaches and trends of the development of western historiography to interpret this extremally controversial event. Also, the thesis briefly characterizes the main interpretation schemes of the conservative, liberal, republican, socialist, and Marxist authors while paying attention to revisionist and latest interpretations of contemporary authors as well. The primary method used in the thesis was the qualitative content analysis and critical interpretation of the relevant secondary literature and its comparison with other scientific sources. As for the primary sources, available scientific literature published during the last two hundred years was used, primarily written in English, German, French and Czech. However, the characteristic differences among the interpretations of the selected topics belong to the crucial observed elements. | en |
