dc.description.abstract-translatedInternational legal mechanisms for the protection of substantive environmental human rightsPublic international law itself is currently heavily influenced by the process of environmentalisation. The existence of a close link between public international law and the procedural development and emergence of international environmental law, which has greatly influenced the application of general institutes as well as the shape of specific branches of the legal theory of international law, has resulted in the division of a separate branch of public international law. International environmental law itself regulates the protection of the environment, and there is no doubt that the human rights dimension forms part of it. It is the issue of the protection of human environmen tal rights that belongs to a specific component of international environmental law, developing in close interaction with specific branches and sub-branches of public international law. International environmental law and human rights law have interrelated objectives and ultimately seek to create better conditions for life on Earth.en
