dc.description.abstract-translatedThis article deals with the issue of home births in the Czech Republic. The legislation of the Czech Republic does not explicitly prohibit the possibility of home births, but at the same time it does not regulate it. The issue of home births has previously been addressed by the European Court of Human Rights, and now the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic has also addressed this issue. The Constitutional Court, in its decision of 28. 8. 2024, also appealed to legislators to address the issue of home births. In the article, the author will also address, among other things, the risks that the current legal (no)regulationin the area of home births brings with it.en
