| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce představuje komplexní srovnání systémů sociálního zabezpečení mezi Českou republikou a Spojenými státy americkými, s důrazem na jejich rozdíly a specifika. Úvod do tématu sociálního zabezpečení obecně poskytuje základní informace potřebné k porozumění obou systémů. Detailní rozbor sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, včetně jeho historického vývoje a specifických typů dávek, nabízí podrobný pohled na fungování tohoto systému. Obdobně je přistupováno k systému sociálního zabezpečení ve Spojených státech, což umožňuje čtenáři pochopit klíčové rozdíly a podobnosti mezi oběma zeměmi. Dílčím cílem diplomové práce jsou výpočty modelových příkladů důchodových dávek jako jsou starobní, invalidní, sirotčí a vdovský důchod, spolu s analýzou nemocenských dávek v České republice a možnostmi souběhu práce a důchodu v USA. Tento přístup nejenže poukazuje na reálné dopady systémů sociálního zabezpečení na jednotlivce v různých životních situacích, ale také umožňuje přímé porovnání mezi Českou republikou a USA. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis presents a comprehensive comparison of social security systems between the Czech Republic and the United States of America, with emphasis on their differences and specifics. An introduction to the topic of social security in general provides the basic information needed to understand both systems. A detailed analysis of Social Security in the Czech Republic, including its historical development and specific types of benefits, offers a detailed look at the workings of the system. A similar approach is taken to the Social Security system in the United States, allowing the reader to understand the key differences and similarities between the two countries. A sub-objective of the thesis is the calculation of model examples of retirement benefits such as old-age, disability, orphan, and widow's pensions, along with an analysis of sickness benefits in the Czech Republic and the possibility of concurrent work and retirement in the United States. This approach not only highlights the real impact of social security systems on individuals in different life situations, but also allows for direct comparisons between the Czech Republic and the US. | en |
