dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis aims to bring Hostouň?s legend, also tries to map all previously written publications that deal with this legend, and to clarify if a given case happened or not. Also it explains the status of the Jewish population in the society and history of that nation in the Czech lands until the Thirty Years War. Also, we will discover a brief history of the town and estate Hostouň and Horšovský Týn, because these two estates related. Last but not least, it describes the history of significant families who owned the estate Hostouň.en
