dc.description.abstractPráce se zaměřuje na město Kolín v období druhé světové války. Národnostní spory v československém pohraničí vyústily v podepsání Mnichovské dohody, která byla aktem německé, zatím jen diplomatické agrese. Dalším nepřátelským aktem nacistického Německa vůči Československu byla vojenská okupace v březnu 1939 a zřízení Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Mezi okupací nejvíce zasažené obyvatele Kolína patří bezesporu Židé, jelikož kolínská Židovská obec byla druhou nejvýznamnější v Československu. Práce popisuje strukturu okupačních úřadů a jejich činnost v Kolíně. Další kapitola se zabývá obdobím tzv. heydrichiády, tedy vlnou teroru, která následovala po atentátu na zastupujícího říšského protektora Reinharda Heydricha. Poslední měsíce války jsou v Kolíně definovány zejména nálety spojenecké letecké armády na kolínskou rafinerii a nádraží, které byly významné pro německé válečné úsilí. dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis focuses on the city of Kolín during the Second World War. Ethnic disputes in the Czechoslovak border region resulted in the signing of the Munich Agreement, which was an act of German, so far only diplomatic, aggression. Another hostile act of Nazi Germany towards Czechoslovakia was the military occupation in March 1939 and the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Among the inhabitants of Kolín most affected by the occupation were undoubtedly the Jews, as Kolín's Jewish community was the second most important in Czechoslovakia. This thesis describes the structure of the occupation authorities and their activities in Kolín. The next chapter deals with the period of the socalled Heydrichiad, the wave of terror that followed the assassination of the acting Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich. The last months of the war are defined in Kolín, particularly by the Allied air raids on the Kolín's refinery and railway station, which were significant to the German war effort. The thesis concludes with a description of the liberation of Kolín by the Red Army.en
