dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce zkoumá aplikaci principů origami v moderní architektuře, čímž objasňuje problematiku geometrických a strukturálních konceptů v konstrukcích. Teoretická část se soustředí na vysvětlení této problematiky na reálných příkladech z praxe, kdy je věnována pozornost zejména diskretizaci ploch organických tvarů a s tím souvisejícímu použití materiálů a technologií. Praktická část se zaměřuje na návrh, výrobu a testování modelu fasádního panelu, jehož únosnost byla experimentálně ověřena a porovnána s výsledky softwarových simulací. V této části je ověřována spolehlivost simulací včetně celkového chování modelu. Také je řešena vhodnost užití těchto panelů v praxi.	cs
dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis explores the application of origami principles in modern architecture, thus clarifying the issue of geometric and structural concepts in structures. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of this issue through real examples from the field, where attention is paid in particular to the discretization of surfaces of organic shapes and the related use of materials and technologies. The practical part focuses on the design, fabrication and testing of a facade panel model whose load-bearing capacity has been experimentally verified and compared with the results of software simulations. In this part, the reliability of the simulations including the overall behaviour of the model is verified. The suitability of using these panels in practice is also addressed.	en
