dc.description.abstractMoje diplomová práce se zabývá americkou zahraniční politikou vůči Afghánistánu a tím, jak se v průběhu let proměňovala a vyvíjela. Zaměřila jsem se na období, kdy byl americkým prezidentem George. W. Bush, Barack Obama a Donald Trump, přičemž pro porovnávání jsem zvolila tři oblasti, jedná se o zajištění bezpečnosti a stability země, podporu demokratické vlády a o rozvojovou pomoc. Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo zmapovat, zda v americké zahraniční politice vůči Afghánistánu docházelo k výrazným změnám spolu s výměnou amerických prezidentů, anebo na sebe konkrétní kroky vlád navazovaly.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of my Master thesis is "American foreign diplomacy toward Afghanistan", in this thesis I will analyze ho US foreign policy toward Afghanistan has changed over they years. I have chosen three areas which are important for the long-term development of Afghanistan. I will focus closely on security, development and government assistance during the presidency of George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. The main aim of my thesis is to analyze, if there were some significant changes in the US foreign policy toward Afghanistan caused by change of American president. I try to find out if their strategies were individual or if they followed to each other.en
