dc.description.abstractCílem diplomové práce je analýza rakousko-uherské zahraniční politiky během balkánských válek v letech 1912-1913. Změny, které přinesly oba konflikty, se zásadním způsobem promítly do sféry mezinárodních vztahů a velmocenské politiky. Diplomacie Rakousko-Uherska a koncepce její zahraniční politiky byla během obou konfliktů podrobena těžké zkoušce. Vídeň byla nucena hájit své zájmy na poloostrově a vyrovnat se s nově vzniklou konstelací. V důsledku toho došlo k zásadní změně rakousko-uherských pozic na Balkáně a k proměně vztahu monarchie k balkánským státům. Předkládaná diplomová práce sleduje, analyzuje a hodnotí tento vývoj rakousko-uherské zahraniční politiky a rovněž vystihuje jeho význam pro následný vývoj a vypuknutí první světové války.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of the Diploma thesis is the analysis of Austro-Hungarian foreign policy during the Balkan Wars in 1912-1913. Changes brought by these two conflicts reflected themselves significantly in the sphere of international relations and politics of the European great powers. The diplomacy of Austria-Hungary and its concept of foreign policy had undergone a difficult test. Vienna was forced to protect its interests on the peninsula as well as to deal with the new situation. Due to that, the relation of the monarchy towards the Balkan states had been greatly modified and its influence in Balkan diminished. The thesis follows, analyzes, and evaluates the development of the Austro-Hungarian foreign policy and also assesses its relevance for the future development and the outbreak of the First World War.en
