dc.description.abstractTématem této kvalifikační práce jsou transsexuální jedinci ve zdravotnických oborech. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá osobami, které si prošly přeměnou pohlaví a studují nebo pracují ve zdravotnictví. Práce se rozděluje na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se snažíme vysvětlit a představit jednotlivé termíny spojené s transsexualitou jako je např. gender, queer, transgender, sexuální identifikace apod. Dá-le je v teoretické části popsán celý proces přeměny pohlaví, diskriminace a sociální práce s transsexuálními jedinci. Pro praktickou výzkumnou část jsme zvolili kvalitativní i kvantitativní výzkumné šetření. V kvalitativním výzkumu jsou popsány rozhovory se čtyřmi transsexuálními je-dinci, kterými jsou zdravotníci. Pro kvantitativní výzkum jsme zvolili dotazníkové šetře-ní, kde jsme oslovili studenty Fakulty zdravotnických studií v Plzni a zároveň jejich rodi-če, prarodiče a sourozence pro vyplnění dotazníku.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of this undergraduate thesis is transgender individuals in the health pro-fessions. This thesis is focused on individuals who have undergone gender transition and are studying or working in the health care field. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part we try to explain and introduce variety of terms related to transsexuality such as gender, queer, transgender, sexual identification, etc. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the whole process of gender transition and discrimination and also social work with transsexual individuals. For the practical research part we have chosen both qualitative and quantitative research investigations. The qualitative research describes interviews with four transse-xual individuals who are health professionals. For the quantitative research we decided to use a questionnaire survey where we approached students of the Faculty of Health Studies in Pilsen and also their parents, grandparents and siblings and ask them to fill in the que-stionnaire.en
