dc.description.abstractVe své rigorózní práci jsem se zaměřil na podrobné seznámení s historií regionu Chodska a hlavně domažlických Chodů, jakožto zásadních určovatelů a hybatelů toku dějin v této oblasti. Mým hlavním cílem bylo vytvořit ucelený vhled do dějin regionu a jeho obyvatel žijících v okolí česko-německé hranice, na jejich záslužnou činnost při střežení hraničních hvozdů, za což byli odměňováni na tehdejší dobu výjimečnými královskými svobodami a privilegií. Zásadním tématem této rigorózní práce byl boj těchto privilegovaných obyvatel proti vrchnostem, jež je utiskovaly na jejich právech a z toho plynoucí následné snahy za zachování těchto práv.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn my rigorous thesis I focused on a detailed introduction to the history of the Chodsko region and especially to the Chods of Domažlice as the fundamental determinants of the course of history in this area. My main goal was to create a comprehensive insight into the history of the region and its inhabitants living in the vicinity of the Czech-German border, their meritorious activity in guarding the border forests, for which they were rewarded with royal freedoms and privileges for that time exceptional. The essential theme of this rigorous thesis is the struggle of these privileged inhabitants against the nobility, who oppressed them in their rights and the resulting subsequent efforts to preserve these rights.en
