dc.description.abstract-translatedThe research activity focused on the design and experimental validation of cement-based matrices for the immobilization of intermediate level radioactive waste, with particular attention to mechanical performance, durability, and radionuclide retention, also through accelerated aging and leaching tests. All the results are according the Technical Guide N°33, that is the Italian Law for the acceptance criteria for matrices and waste (from LLW to HLW).en
