| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této práce je analýza hnutí Occupy Wall Street (OWS) z pohledu teorie nových sociálních hnutí. První část práce se zabývá vymezením a konceptualizací tzv. nových sociálních hnutí. Na základě společných sdílených znaků s tzv. novými hnutími je poté ve druhé části práce analyzováno vlastní hnutí OWS. Kromě uvedení stručné historie a skutečností, které vedly ke vzniku hnutí, se tedy práce zabývá i jeho organizací a strukturou, vybranými taktikami a složením účastníků. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje vývoji hnutí a zhodnocení výsledků a změn, které hnutí přineslo. Hlavní výzkumnou otázkou práce je, zda lze hnutí OWS považovat za tzv. nové sociální hnutí. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement from the perspective of the new social movement theory. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition and conceptualization of the "new" social movements. In the second part of the thesis, the OWS movement is analyzed on the basis of shared common characteristics with the new social movements. Apart from the brief history and issues that led to the emergence of the movement, the thesis deals with the movement´s organization and structure, selected tactics and participants. The final part of the thesis focuses on the development of the movement and the evaluation of the changes it has brought about. The main research question of the thesis is, whether the OWS can be considered as the new social movement. | en |
