Creative Approaches in Software Engineering: A Hybrid Framework of Design Thinking and Agility

Abstract

This article presents a hybrid framework combining Design Thinking (DT) and Agile software development to increase flexibility in software engineering. A collaboration between the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen integrates creativity management and information systems with a focus on interdisciplinary teamwork. Through a systematic literature review and practical case studies, the authors demonstrate how a hybrid approach supports innovation in user-centered development. The article describes in detail the integration of DT and Agile techniques and offers a three-phase model that leverages the strengths of both methodologies.Tento článek představuje hybridní rámec kombinující Design Thinking (DT) a agilní vývoj softwaru pro zvýšení flexibility v softwarovém inženýrství. Spolupráce mezi Technickou univerzitou aplikovaných věd Amberg-Weiden a Západočeskou univerzitou v Plzni integruje systémy řízení kreativity a informační systémy se zaměřením na interdisciplinární týmovou práci. Prostřednictvím systematického přehledu literatury a praktických případových studií autoři demonstrují, jak hybridní přístup podporuje inovace ve vývoji zaměřeném na uživatele. Článek podrobně popisuje integraci technik z DT i Agile a nabízí třífázový model, který využívá silné stránky obě metodologie.
