dc.description.abstractPráce je zaměřena na ukrajinský separatismus a to, jaký vliv na něj mají aspekty politické geografie. Geografické skutečnosti mají často přímý i nepřímý vliv na vývoj politické situace na daném území, výjimkou nejsou ani separatistické oblasti na východě Ukrajiny. Práce také pracuje s širším kontextem celého konfliktu na Ukrajině, což umožňuje objasnit vznik a fungování separatistických republik na Donbasu. Celá práce využívá množství map, které poukazují na souvislost geografie s politickou realitou. Teoretická kapitola pracuje s teorií kvazistátů a zhroucených států a s teorií politického secesionismu a iredentismu. Další kapitoly se zabývají geografickými, etnickými a náboženskými podmínkami, souvislostmi separatismu a války na východní Ukrajině, vnitřním fungováním separatistických republik a rolí cizích vlivů v konfliktu. Cílem práce je identifikovat hlavní geografické a politické determinanty, aspekty a vlivy, které měly svou roli při vzniku separatistických států na východě Ukrajiny. Práce vysvětluje příčiny a důsledky snah o separatismus ruského obyvatelstva na Ukrajině a náhled na to, proč se na východě Ukrajiny (zatím) neopakoval "krymský scénář", tedy anexe Luhanské a Doněcké oblasti Ruskou federací.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis is focused on Ukrainian separatism and how it is affected by aspects of political geography. Geographical facts often have both direct and indirect influence on the development of the political situation in a given territory, separatist areas in the east of Ukraine are no exception. Thesis also works with the broader context of the whole conflict in Ukraine, which allows to clarify the emergence and functioning of separatist republics in the Donbas. The whole work uses a variety of maps to point out the connection between geography and political reality. The theoretical chapter works with theory of quasi-states and failed states and with theory of political secessionism and irredentism. Other chapters deal with geographical, ethnic and religious conditions, contextuality of separatism and war in eastern Ukraine, internal functioning of separatist republics and the role of foreign influences in the conflict. The aim of thesis is to identify the main geographical and political determinants, aspects and influences that have their role in the emergence of separatist states in the east. The thesis explains the causes and consequences of the efforts of the separatism of the Russian population in Ukraine and why the "Crimean scenario", i.e. the annexation of the Lughansk and Donetsk regions by the Russian Federation has not been (yet) repeated in eastern Ukraine.en
