dc.description.abstract-translatedThe present article aims to describe the meaning of legal philosophy in a world of rising legal positivism. The aim is to show the enduring influence and importance of philosophical concepts in bringing complex legal structures to the attention of the lay public. Using examples from practice, we aim to clarify the theoretical concept in even greater detail, by mentioning the discussion of the material core of the Constitution, or the Roman Law Sentences as important achievements of ancient legal science. In the final section, we identify the possibilities for the influence of legal philosophy on the debate about the potential unconstitutionality of constitutional norms.en
