dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním tří nástrojů pro vizualizaci dat, kterými jsou Microsoft Excel, Tableau Desktop a programovací jazyk R, se zaměřením na práci s ekonomickými otevřenými daty. V teoretické části jsou popsány principy efektivní vizualizace, specifika ekonomických dat a charakteristiky jednotlivých nástrojů. Praktická část zahrnuje implementaci tří typů vizualizací, a to spojnicového grafu, choropleth mapy a bublinového grafu, v každém z nástrojů. Důraz je kladen na přehlednost, srozumitelnost a kvalitu vizualizace. Následně jsou nástroje porovnány pomocí předem definovaných metrik, které hodnotí uživatelskou přívětivost, technické možnosti i dostupnost. Výsledky ukazují, že vhodnost nástroje se liší podle účelu použití a zkušeností uživatele. Výstupem práce je popis silných a slabých stránek porovnávaných nástrojů a doporučení pro jejich použití.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor's thesis focuses on the comparison of three data visualization tools including Microsoft Excel, Tableau Desktop and the R programming language with an emphasis on working with open economic data. The theoretical part outlines the principles of effective visualization, the specifics of economic data, and the characteristics of each tool. The practical part includes the implementation of three types of visualizations in each of the tools: a line chart, a choropleth map and a bubble chart. Emphasis is placed on clarity, comprehensibility, and the overall quality of the visualizations. The tools are subsequently compared using predefined metrics that evaluate user-friendliness, technical capabilities, and availability. The results show that the suitability of a tool varies depending on the intended purpose and the user's level of experience. The outcome of the thesis is a description of the strengths and weaknesses of the compared tools, along with recommendations for their use.en
